Learning {the girl behind the blog} Vlog Link Up

I caved and decided to link up with Ashley and Andi on ‘the girl behind the blog’ series. (Thank you Lindsay ;)

It’s more or less what’s on my heart, what I’ve been learning – from down right serious to the frivolous things in life.

Hope you join in!

xoxo

ps- at the end apparently I don’t know what ‘one last thing’ really means. sorry!

Hi Franchesca….you have such a beautiful spirit…I love that you shared about it being okay to fall, because you can get back up. Such a powerful truth. I went through a season recently where my heart would just feel shattered at the pain of others…and honestly, it hasn’t really stopped…I think becoming a mother has opened my heart up to love and care so much more passionately about the struggles of other people in our lives. When becoming a mother we have no choice but to give up every last thought of us being the center of our universe…we become pro’s at taking care and loving on others…so I think this is a mother’s journey. I loved ALL of your “last things”! I know your heart feels heavy, but it sounds like you also know how loved you are. When you fall, the good people around you will lift you up and help you stand again. I won’t lie and say that I know how you feel or what you’re up against, but know that you have a friend in me!

And I shouldn’t keep chocolate in my house either.

i love this! thanks for sharing! i have been struggling with the first two things that you mentioned. there have been a lot of women at my church recently who have had miscarriages and it has been hard to see the good in those situations, but I’ve been trying to remind myself over and over that He is good and He has a plan even when we can’t see it. I am also a neat freak with a 3 month old and have had to let some things go!

So I’ve just spent the last 30 minutes or so on your blog. I love your video and the words you said. Isn’t it amazing to know that God loves us still, even in our times of questioning or not-understanding? He’s so patient, gracious, and willing to teach.

Yes times a million! Oh my word. I think it’s just that- his relentless love that keeps me coming back to Him every time. It amazes me how patient he is with me.

Thank you for watching me+my awkwardness! So glad my son was there for a bit, somehow makes me less nervous ;)

Glad you decided to link up again. I just love your heart. The thing is, if we didn’t fall, didn’t struggle through issues weighing on our heart, kept our house spotless, didn’t need hair product, whatever.- then WE’d be perfect. And if we were perfect we wouldn’t need God. Not that that’s why God allows things to happen, but still

so true. God does love us still. its hard sometimes not to “wonder” when you hear about all the bad things, but i just purpose that my tiny little human brain cant conceive the magnitude of our God… the chocolate things too.. yep, pretty much agree with it all, including the cleaning thing. sometimes i want to cry and I am not even a clean freak, but i have 3 kids and cant even begin to keep my house clean half the time, much less all the time… your’e so pretty, thanks for sharing…and it is so nice to “meet’ you =)

Thank you Julie! You are way too sweet! I am so glad I’m not the only one that wonders about things. I like that thought though, we can’t fathom what God is doing behind the scenes. If only we could get a glimpse sometimes and make sense of it all ;)

      XOXO

Totally true. All of those things you mention break my heart too. And I pray all those dealing with things like that personally know Jesus. Otherwise, I dont know now how they get through. He is honestly the reason I made it through losing Christian and how I’m
Getting through the new normal now.
