Hi There! I’m Tina. I’d like to introduce you to my special girls, Sophia and Ellie. Today is their third birthday. On this day in 2009, I was 21 weeks and 1 day pregnant with identical twins. That morning I very suddenly went into preterm labor and had to deliver my precious babies. My world was shattered and has not been quite the same since.
Sometimes it seems like this all happened so long ago, other times it feels like yesterday. My memories of that day are all so vivid. However, I don’t let me mind go there very often, sometimes it’s too painful and it’s just my way of coping. The last three years have not been easy. I look back at where I started and where I am now, and I have come so far. Today, I can say that I am thankful for my girls. I am grateful that I was chosen to be their mother, I am grateful for the time we had with them, for the gifts they have brought into my life, the friends they have bonded me with, and the many lessons I have learned and continue to learn from them. Needless to say, not a day goes by that I don’t wish I could change the outcome, but nevertheless, I am still thankful.

God gave me my son Lukah Emmanuel. He lives 22wks inside of me, and just like you i went into preterm labor, and although they try everything to keep him inside at least for few more wks, he was born October 26-2009. I didnt see him alive but i know he lived for couple of minutes. And was/is so precious and im so thankful God gave me him and gave the opportunity to see his face and hold his precious body. I love my son!
And God gave me a rainbow <3 My daughter Ava Louise. My little girl that came to bright our lives. Im so thankful for my children <3

God gave me 4 beautiful children… one of whom is an angel baby.. Elijah John was our special messenger, he couldn’t stay, but he came with a message for us all… that was to slow down, live better and love better…. we later learned his name is that of a prophet that comes with a message and leaves…. that is what he did… every day I see God isightings from him… birds are our special sightings, as they were around us the whole weekend he passed… he is a moment in my arms, forever in our hearts…. Hi, My name is Caitlin and God gave me my son Jaxon. At 21 weeks pregnant I wemt to my 20 week ultra sound and found out I was having a precious baby boy and he was oh so perfect. I came home and later that day I went into preterm labor and the next day I ended up having my son the next day and he was born sleeping. This happened in August of last year and it feels like the whole thing was a figment of my imagination. A dream. A dream that will never come true. In 2007 God also gave me my daughter who is 5 years old and she has truly been the light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

After trying to conceive for 5 years, we were thrilled to hear we were having 3 babies. Identical girls and a fraternal boy, Olivia, Lucas and Leila. We miss them dearly. Our lives have been changed forever! xo

Thanks for sharing your touching story. The necklace is beautiful. I’m continually amazed at the creativity that comes out of such deep grief.
Like so many god has given me a son of the sweetest nature,how ever that is not why I would love to win this necklace. If I was to win I would like to give it to my sister in law whom has one of her children now in gods care, I think she would cherish and adore such a piece.
as silly as it sounds, God gave me my wonderful dog Dakota who has shown me love and companionship through two miscarriages and lots of health unknowns. I am so thankful God gave me her- and I love the necklaces! So very beautiful.

God gave us our son, Ian Robert Chek, after several years of fertility treatments and pregnancy losses. He was born over 13 weeks prematurely, weighing just 1 pound, 11 ounces. In spite of his very tiny size, doctors were cautiously optimistic about his future. He faced and conquered a lot of challenges along the way, but ultimately lost the battle. We feel his loss daily– but we’re also very proud of the impact he had on so many lives. Because of Ian, protocols for the care of preemies and children with heart defects were changed and improved, and other parents won’t go home with empty arms.
I am a new subscriber to Still Standing, and just saw your amazingl necklace. Ellie and Sophia were beautiful. Their lives, and the love that you put into your jewelry will touch and bring comfort to so many people.

God gave me two beautiful, healthy children born 12 months and 25 days apart. I was shocked when I found out that 4 months after having my beautiful, perfect daughter, we were expecting another baby! God gave me both of these crazy, silly kids who are now best friends at ages 3 and 2! I couldn’t thank him enough because without these two little beings in my life, my husband and I would live a very dull life! :)
