I tend to think the last one is the most accurate meaning of her first name, but no matter what her name really means, they all just fit. So perfectly.
It still doesn’t feel like she’s ours, I’ll admit. Maybe it has to do with having to ask permission from the nurses for every little thing those first few days in the NICU, or maybe it’s because we finally have this amazing little girl in our lives. In one word, these past few days with her at home have been surreal.
Either way, we are enjoying her littleness. Her sleepy eyes, her noises (and boy, does she makes some noises!), her stretching, her sleepy smiles, her bright eyes, the way she is starting to connect with Joseph… all the amazing little/ big things.
She has no idea how much love she has poured into our lives. Buckets and buckets of love.
