I love Emily Dickinson quotes. I added this quote to my header design a days ago too. It epitomizes everything about this blog and the way I feel about life these days.
Today I found myself playing baseball with my two and half year old little man under a windy, blue sky. He is actually pretty good. No tee-ball stand, just a red, foam bat that our neighbor bought him when she bought Evelyn a gift, and a white, squishy baseball (and a clumsy, cannot-aim-to-save-her-life mom). We laughed and cheered, even when he would have technically have been hitting foul balls. It was just exciting to see him hit the ball. He’s good, and he does not get his aim from me. Most of the hits he had would have been game worthy. I wonder if he will play baseball as he gets older, or football, or both.
That’s our bit of life today. Under the blue sky, and after hearing Evie’s heart is healthy (Praise God!) at her final cardiologist appointment.

Sounds like a beautifully sweet day…one to relish. Mmmm…blue skies: must be lovely!
And healthy hearts filled with love!!!! Practically perfect in every way! :-)
